Francisco Cerón learned to draw at a very early age and began his career as an illustrator in local newspapers and magazines in his native country, Colombia. In addition to illustrating countless books and projects, he is a natural creator of characters and stories. His drawings are inspired by his childhood and his childhood heroes. This ability to create and draw keeps the child living inside him.

THE KOKOMOCHI WORLD IN NFT

To enter the new world of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), Francisco Cerón returns to his roots as an illustrator. With a clear influence from comics, anime, and pop culture, Cerón creates this beautiful series of illustrations called KOKOMOCHI.

This series stands out for its urban culture, where the artist incorporates characters that move in a completely new world of emojis, fantastical characters, Kawaii, beautiful girls, and modern pre-Columbian symbolism, all marked with the versatile line of the artist.

ANALOG AND DIGITAL ART

Cerón skillfully intertwines digital art with analog art, using photographs taken by himself during his travels and incorporating them as backgrounds in his artwork. He also harnesses the power of AI, Artificial Intelligence, to create new environments while hand-drawing each of his characters.
